'Georgia Meet Wrap-Up' by Michael Cheek Mr. Blair’s St Patrick Day meet for 2010 turned into another great event. I had never been able to attend one of Mr. B’s meets so I was pretty excited to be there. There were so many events, I’m sure everyone went home really tired! The racing was great and the floor was super fast. Unfortunately the outdoor portion was cancelled due to weather, but I think everyone still went home happy. This meet also turned into another great test for the new Atom iQ Technology. After one 5 lap race where I was DQ’d and Justin Stelly ended up 3rd, we decided it was time to test out the new wheels. The result was the same as in Seattle when I tried the iQ wheels. They’re just incredibly fast and almost effortless to race on. Justin and I were able to finish first and second respectively in the 30 lap, giving Stelly the Sr. men’s title. While the wheels are already amazing, we want to make them perfect. Our goal is to make a wheel that is faster than any wheel anyone has EVER skated on AND that wears three times slower! So keep checking back on the Luigino Web Site for developing details. Look for Luigino Racing at the Tampa Classic April 1-4 In Tampa Florida. Train hard and I will see you soon! Sincerely, your friend in speed skating, Michael Cheek
